Dear Matt,
Developing Your Introduction
by Amanda Chocko
How do you answer the question, "What do you do?"
When answering this question you need to have a
clear understanding of what you do, why, and for
whom. You should be able to articulate what makes
you special or different from others in the same
field. And believe it or not, there are certain
guidelines in developing your elevator pitch or
business commercial.

| Defining 'Moments of Truth' in a Business Customer’s Lifecycle |
 |
|
by Joseph Fiochetta
There are several critical times during a
customer’s relationship where a decision is made -
by the customer - to continue or discontinue
interacting with a company. This may be the first
bill, a customer service call, a retail experience,
a Web site...any event that helps clarify the
relationship with a particular brand, product, or
service.
We call these "moments of truth" and how a
marketer interacts with the customers can
significantly increase (or decrease) the long-term
viability of that relationship. Identifying and
anticipating those points of clarify is critical to
maintain and grow a profitable customer
relationship.

| Project Spotlight: Path Art and Photos Website |

Mike Scieszka clearly loves what he does: watercolor
and gouache paintings and photographs of train
graffiti. His photographs capture the hip,
alternative art of train graffiti in remarkable
sharpness and the original, vivid colors. Based in
East Lansing, Michigan, his work had been available
only in galleries in Lansing and Grand Rapids. Mike
wanted a website where customers can see and
purchase both the art and the clothing anytime they
wish. Dreamscape provided a complete e-commerce
package with a shopping cart, transaction security,
and the ability for Mike to track traffic.
"Dreamscape Multimedia is a true partner for
business start-ups. Matt Schoenherr designed and
built a wonderful website for my art and photography
business. More importantly, Matt knows what it takes
to make a website successful 'behind the website'.
Matt's experience with web hosting sites, setting up
the financial transactions for e-commerce, and
general web marketing skills were invaluable to me,"
Mike says.
We appreciate the compliments, Mike. With such
great artwork as the star, we're proud to be the
supporting cast. By the way, Mike acknowledges the
work of the anonymous graffiti artists by donating a
portion of every sale of graffiti photos and
clothing to the St. Vincent Home for Children in
Lansing, providing residential care, foster care,
family counseling, and adoption services.

| REM Lab Under Development |
 |
|
As a client once told me, “Sometimes, all it takes
is one good idea.”
In the next few months, Dreamscape Multimedia
will be launching the REM (Real Experience
Marketing) Lab for business owners and operators
with the
magic of marketing – the creative ideas.
The REM Lab is being built to collect the wealth
of creative solutions other have used successfully
and offer them as an alternative to paying large
amounts of money to professional marketing firms for
the ideas. The REM Lab will offer you a beginning
point. Our goal is to help you build your game plan
and give you proven ideas at a reasonable cost.
Watch for the REM Lab later this fall.

“We must ask where we are and whither we are
tending.”
~Abraham Lincoln
At Dreamscape Multimedia, we are nearing the end of
a busy and productive summer. Where are we heading?
Everything around us is growing: Our services, the
number of clients we serve, the talented people we
can call on, and, most importantly, our clients
themselves.
In this issue of Tribe, we’re highlighting our
October seminar, "Culture of Success: Strategies for
Changing Markets." It’s inexpensive (a mere $25 for
early registration), it’s one morning (so you can
still get back to your office and deal with any
fires if you have to), and it features three experts
on essential areas for business or nonprofit
success. Imagine! A whole morning dedicated to
helping you improve your productivity and
profitability. Put this in your calendar and
register today!
Over the summer, we’ve expanded our talent bank with
a new VP of Business Development for our clients and
with other experts who handle some of the
behind-the-scenes work. That gives us more time to
listen, plan, and create for clients, old and new.
Of course, the biggest change coming my way is the
new baby we’re expecting in the next few weeks.
(Fortunately, it is a girl, officially making a
complete set!) My family is looking forward to her
arrival.
May all your work meet with great success.
In support of your efforts,
Matt Schoenherr
